Speakers Bureau Update and Upcoming Events Announced

Findlay, Ohio — The Theta Chi Fraternity, Eta Mu Chapter Alumni Association at the University of Findlay is strengthening its commitment to give back through the continued growth of its Alumni Speakers Bureau, an initiative designed to connect students and faculty with real-world professional experience.

The Speakers Bureau was created, several years ago, with a clear goal: to leverage not only alumni financial support, but also the rich and diverse career expertise of our fraternities' alumni. By sharing practical insights, leadership lessons, and industry knowledge, alumni speakers help prepare students for professional success beyond the classroom. And, make valuable connections that provide direction to the attending students.

“Our alumni represent decades of experience across business, leadership, education, environmental safety, and more, ”said a representative of the Eta Mu Alumni Association. “This program allows us to turn that experience into meaningful engagement that directly benefits University of Findlay students.”

How the Program Works

The Theta Chi Eta Mu Alumni Speakers Bureau operates through close collaboration with University of Findlay administrators and professors. Alumni speaker profiles are developed to align with academic needs, course objectives, and student development goals.

Key components of the program include:

  • Development of branded speaker profile templates aligned to the quality standards of the University of Findlay and of the Theta Chi fraternity

  • Coordination with faculty to align topics and schedule presentations

  • Review of alumni qualifications and focus areas to ensure the best possible speaking experience

  • Flexible delivery formats to meet classroom and event needs

  • Ensuring a discussion format that allows students to expand on points through questions, clarification, and deeper discussion on specific points of interest.

This initiative officially launched during the first semester of 2022 and has continued to grow steadily.
