Fundraising Update-January 2026

A year to remember, 2025 was an exciting year for Eta Mu Chapter fundraising. The fundraising committee evaluated several online giving platforms beginning in early April, and by August we had launched a new partnership with OneCause, greatly improving our ability to reach alumni brothers through text‑to‑give campaigns and dedicated webpages for operations and educational support.

To date, we have raised $13,050 from 63 generous donors, and your support is already making a meaningful difference for the active chapter. These funds equip our undergraduate brothers with the tools they need to lead, serve, and uphold our fraternity’s core values throughout their college experience and beyond.

As we enter a new year, we do so with bigger ambitions and a clearer vision. In 2026, our goals are to increase our donor base from 63 to 100 alumni brothers and to convert at least 25 one‑time gifts into recurring monthly donations, giving the Finance Team greater predictability and stability in managing our budget.

A major focus this year will be empowering alumni brothers to tap into the strength of their own personal networks. If each engaged member of our alumni corporation took the time to personally ask just ten friends or family members to support Eta Mu—on the Day of Giving or another meaningful date—we could unlock a powerful new stream of support grounded in trusted relationships. National peer‑to‑peer fundraising benchmarks indicate that individual volunteer fundraisers frequently generate around $250 or more per year through their personal networks, making it realistic that modest outreach from our current 63 donors could increase our annual giving by as much as $15,000.

We look forward to another strong year in 2026 as we move our alumni corporation closer to its long‑term goals while continuing to support the active chapter and the undergraduate members of Eta Mu. Thank you to the members of the Fundraising Committee for your dedication and thank you to the alumni brothers who chose to make a financial commitment to the continued success of Eta Mu.
