Brother David Hinds, Eta Mu Chapter, 1984
Our own David Hinds was nominated by the Brothers of the Eta Mu Chapter for election to the Grand Chapter. Brother Hinds furthered his dedication to Theta Chi by accepting the nomination. He has since gone through a rigorous interview process in addition to providing an exhaustive biographical questionnaire. And, as a result, is now one of eight nominees for election to the Grand Chapter at the 170th Anniversary Convention - read more about the convention.
The alumni association, at its monthly board of directors meeting on May 17, 2026 recognized the Eta Mu Chapters nomination and has noted Davids many contributions to the fraternity over many years. His recent contributions include serving the Eta Mu chapter as its pledge marshal during our chapter rebuild process and as the alumni association secretary. This along with his dedication to the ritual and tradition of Theta Chi have been exemplary. A guiding voice for all in our fraternity. “I am humbled and honored to serve my fraternity at this level. The highest praise, I am truly honored”, David said of the nomination.
