The University of Findlay’s chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity is celebrating another resolute man - UF Senior David May (pictured at the far left). The Theta Chi Resolute Man program guides undergraduate members to obtain the most out of the collegiate experience in order to best prepare them for life after graduation. May is the second UF Theta Chi to receive this honor.
This honor was achieved on October 28, 2025, as a result of David May’s attendance at the Resolute Man Experience Track held at Theta Chi Headquarters in Carmel, IN. Theta Chi is one of the oldest men’s college fraternities in North America. Founded in 1856, Theta Chi Fraternity is a men’s collegiate fraternity with more than 200,000 initiated members and has established 245 chapters. It currently supports 157 active chapters and approximately 8,700 collegiate members.
"This award means a lot to me because it shows that all the hard work, sacrifice, and commitment I have put into this fraternity truly mattered, said David May. "Being recognized with the highest honor as a collegiate in Theta Chi reminds me why I serve, and it pushes me to keep leading with truth, temperance, and tolerance!"
“Once again, it’s encouraging and rewarding to see recognition given for our latest resolute man - David May. On behalf of all of our alumni, congratulations and thank you for your leadership.” said Eta Mu Chapter of Theta Chi Alumni President Che Brindle.
Please join us in celebrating and congratulations to our second Resolute Man - David May. Theta Chi has maintained a chapter on the Findlay campus since 1972. It is currently the only fraternity, and one of two social Greek organizations, in existence at UF.
