2026 Spring Formal Event
Another great weekend - our annual Spring Formal Event! The event was held in Findlay, OH at the Findlay Inn. This year saw an increase in attendees with over 110 attending the weekends events.
The weekend started with an initiation dinner at La Charrita restaurant and the initiation of our newest collegiate members on Friday night, April 10, 2026. A event attended by collegiate and alumni members with several years represented.
On Saturday, April 11, 2026 the day started with a meeting of the Theta Chi Fraternity - Eta Mu Chapter - Alumni Association Board of Directors meeting. While this meeting was going on there are several significant others that attended the Main Street Stroll that included Coffee at Amici’s at 328 S. Main St, the event included coffee & door prize awards, a shopping stop at RooBarb Studios 520 S. Main St, and a stop at Dietsch Brothers for ice cream / candy - including a tour of the famous shop. The event was appreciated by all in attendance.
A lunch event was also held at The Fern restaurant where collegiates, alumni, and significant others gathered to share in the weekends events.
Then the formal event itself occurred on Saturday evening. The event started with opening remarks from the President of the Alumni Association, Che Brindle and the President of the Collegiate Chapter, Cooper Sterling. The welcoming remarks indicated a welcome to all in attendance and recognition that our chapter is thriving and celebrating the time together as a brotherhood. This led to a formal dinner including great music, alumni catch up discussions, and new introductions of brothers across the alumni and collegiates in attendance.
A event $1000 fundraising goal was established and was overwhelmingly met, according to Mike Nieman, Fundraising Chair. These monies will go to the support of the chapter operational budget and needs. Thank you to all that contributed to this cause.
