OX Chapters Meet Up Group - Charlotte, NC
“We have 1000’s of Theta Chi Alumni from chapters across the US living in the area, can we have a regular meet up to share our brotherhood?!”
A few Zeta Epsilon Chapter (Long Beach, CA) members had a idea, with support from Theta Chi Fraternity International offices, to hold a regular get together with Theta Chi brothers where they now live - in the Charlotte, NC area. And, what a great response from the Charlotte NC and surrounding suburbs.
They knew that thousands of Theta Chi brothers live in Charlotte/surrounding suburbs with no local chapter in reasonable distance to support an alumni get together. So they created their own monthly Theta Chi Fraternity alumni meet up. The meet up location is North of downtown Charlotte with the goal to have a consistent meet up date, time, and location for Theta Chi brothers in the area.
The first get together had brothers from Zeta Epsilon (Cal Long Beach), Eta Mu (me lol), Eta Beta (Eastern Kentucky), Alpha Tau (Ohio), and Delta Rho (NC State). The second gathering had an alumni from ONU join the group. And, the group feels that it can grow the group even more. And, may need to eventually have two locations.
